Well, I’ve thought about it long enough. Welcome to the “blog in my eye.” It is my hope that this will be a place to read thoughtful, spiritual writing about 21st century parenting. I know, I know…that exists already…and SO well, already (see my blogroll for evidence). But I like you guys; so much so that I desire to join in the community you’ve created. So, um…’hi’…my name’s Elaine. I’m a mom, and I desire to blog. I hope I don’t have any toilet paper stuck to my shoe (Megan), or that my skirt isn’t tucked into my pantyhose.

This is a very lovely, soothing, comfortable place to visit and I plan to come visit often!! I already heart your blog voice (which is unmistakeably Lainey’s voice) and your stated mission and your credentials, too. And to be honest, I feel quite intimidated as I know that you are going to think and write circles around my lazy bummy. You are the deeper, more intimate thinker and more talented scribe of the two of us, of that I have no doubt. But I am still very very excited to see you trying this out after pondering the idea for awhile. I know you are going to love it and be loved for it, too. Long and happily may you blog!
