We have several post-Christmas birthdays in this household, so we’ve been caught up in the celebratin’ for awhile here. I hope to be back in the swing of things soon.
Every time I even think about composing a blog post at the computer, a child ‘o mine wants to use the computer; and they are both becoming quite accomplished at computing these days. I guess I’ll have to start conserving energy to blog at the end of the day (or get a laptop so I can hide in the bathroom and blog; you know who you are *ahem*).
Not to mention that I’ve been caught up reading you guys again. I am so enjoying my new frugal reads; I’ve been learning so much. My favorites are over there on my sidebar if you want to go exploring. But here are some helpful annotations of just a few:
Money Saving Mom – is the ultimate primer on couponing and deal hunting at CVS, Walgreens, and Target. She is amazing.
Freebies for Mom – always has something interesting to list. She collaborates with Amy at MomAdvice to do Freebie Fridays, which I have been reading just about as long as I’ve been blogging. It is so much fun to get free stuff in the mailbox.
Bargain Shopper Lady – Thanks to Cindy @ Still His Girl for suggesting this one when I solicited your advice for your favorite frugal sites. I am now the proud owner of the lowest priced warmest fuzzy Crocs in bloggity-ville.
And thanks to Gayle, I am now ready to make my own laundry soap. I’ve collected all the ingredients. I’m just waiting for the cat to use up the rest of the kitty litter, so I can have the bucket to store my suds in!
Other random things rattling around in my brain:
Can a male masseuse really give a woman a professional massage without enjoying it a little too much?
What was Mary really like?
(Ouch. I know. The juxtaposition. It hurts me too.)
I have had the time to negotiate a really cool giveaway for Shannon’s next Bloggy Giveaway’s carnival, so be sure to come back here on January 28 to check out the kindness. (No late start with a book I already own for me this time!) I’m so excited!
And speaking of books, I would love to clear out my 2007 reading list by annotating it as its own page, so I can have a clean slate for 2008. Jeanne did this with her movies, and I loved it.
It would really help me out if you guys could only post the good stuff. (No pressure) (Kidding!)
She’s back! I was just about to email you today to see if you are ok.
Good to “see” ya!
Thanks for all the great links! Through Freebies For Mom, I found out about FREE post-its! Which totally MADE my day!
I totally want warm & cozy Crocs! Sadly, I’m a little afraid of the disdainful looks I’ll get from my students…I’ve been enjoying my cool status.
By the way, I’m doing blog365 and it’s ALL good stuff. Of course.
be well*do what you love
So glad you are back in bloggyland! I missed you!
I checked out that laundry soap recipe. I just might have to try it! I feel like I spend way too much money on detergent.
Great links, can’t wait to check out the coupon lady. And the crocs look cozy.
