I do. I really do. So, I’m gonna steal this idea from follow in my friend Bargain Shopper Lady’s footsteps and ask you if there is anything you would like me to pray for.
We are all so lucky to be able to approach the throne of grace with confidence and chat with the maker of the universe; but I have learned in my nigh 40 years that sometimes we just can’t pray for our own needs, or don’t know exactly what to pray, or just need to share our burdens with others in order to find wholeness and healing.
Nothing is too trivial, too small — or too big for our God. So if you’d like to share your request with me in the comments or via email (bloginmyeye [at] gmail [dot] com), I will very humbly and very happily pray for you for the next week.
Be blessed.
Man, now THAT is a giveaway, missy!
Thank you for praying for me, for our family, for our adoption, etc. this past year, Elaine! Man, how can I thank you enough for that?
Please continue to pray for emotional healing for Mini’s birth family and for me to truly enjoy this bonding time with her. I feel pulled toward their hurt, which is common with open adoption I think. But I need to trust God with that and not take it upon myself.
I love that you’re offering this! You have a precious heart, you really, really do!
You can pray for me and my husband. We’re feeling like God is asking us to make some movement towards a new adventure. It’s an adventure full of unknowns at this point, so we’re trying to discern what this might look like for us. I know that’s vague, but I think you can pray for wisdom, discernment, direction, and obedient hearts. And thank you, friend! How may I return the favor?
Jacqui could sure use your prayers this week, Lainey… she went into a second CVS episode on Wednesday and she’s having a really rough time. Thank you so much for offering this… hugs to you and yours!
My bloggy friend Kimmie does this and I had her pray for something that I myself had prayed for and she led her entire family to pray. God took notice and answered BIG time.
This is an amazing post and I’m so proud that there are blogs like this out there. I need to exercise my prayer life more and this is a good wakeup call for me.
That is so great! My husband LOVES to pray and sometimes I am green with envy. I do NOT like it. I feel that it is unproductive. My beliefs don’t line up with that but I am so hyper that I just don’t enjoy the “task.” Isn’t that awful?!?!? Plain awful!?!?!? So…you can actually pray that I can have a heart to seek God and get serious about my prayer life. I will say when I run or work out alone, I tend to pray. It is that doing something while I pray dealy that works.
Many blessings to you!
I am a private quiet pray-er and I often forget (pray for that in me!) to ask others what is on their hearts & minds. This is so generous and kind of you.
My biggest prayer-without-ceasing is for my students – it is hard to be a teenager and especially so when there have been few supporters & encouragers & cheerleaders in one’s life. So I try everyday to close my eyes and picture each individual kid with God’s hand on his or her back. I’d sure appreciate you giving a little shout-out for Mrs. Spencer’s peeps anytime.
You’re awesome.
Pray that my G/F Monica has a healthy baby, and that my mother can finally sell her condo so that she can live where she wants to.
That about does it.
Now, what can I pray for you for?
What a wonderful offer. You don’t know me but I clicked on you from a comment because we have the same name. Funny how we find each other out here in the blogosphere, huh?
Please pray for my little boy on his 4th birthday, which is Wednesday.
Thank you…
