Dear various and sundry friends and neighbors,
God’s presence is all around you. I prayed that you would have eyes to see and ears to hear. And you see and hear Him, so honor Him, for He is your Lord. Don’t keep searching for answers in book or friend or drink or child. Your efforts to cobble together truth are futile. God’s truth will never be sexy or glamorous or marketed to you. Many times it won’t even fully make sense to you. But there is blessing in it…and suffering, and pain, and joy, and fullness, and limitless peace. Reach out and take hold of it. Make it your own and never let go. He is waiting for you — and He is your very great reward.
